Gertrude House Blend 12oz
"You'll be old and you never lived, and you kind of feel silly to lie down and die and to never have lived, to have been a job chaser and never have lived." - Gertrude Stein
Paris 1925. Every Saturday evening you could find Gertrude dressed in brown corduroy sitting in her chair. To her right and left sat Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce, Ezra Pound, and countless others. Naming themselves “The Lost Generation”, they fed off of each other’s energy and creativity. They gathered at Gertrude’s invitation to read each other’s works, inspire each other, and develop huge ideas that would forever change the world.
This blend curates the same collaboration. Drink it and you'll be destined to write the next great American novel.
